False Perfectionism

A few weeks ago, my family and I decided to visit a local church, just to go be refreshed. When we arrived, we learned Pastor Chris was not ministering that day. But, his wife, the co-pastor and first lady would be preaching.

Pastor Shelia. Said, “That was a Sunday full of surprises. First, God gave her a new message to preach that morning. The second, (looking directly at me) she said, “There is a prophet in the house.” Then the Pastor Shelia walked over to me and said, “Prophet you did not come here just to sit. I am sorry I can’t remember your name (this was fine we had met for the first time the week before).” After I told her my name, said, “After I finish, I am going to turn the mike over to you minister as the Lord leads.” My wife said, “Are you sure you want to do that?” Everyone laughed.

In a few minutes, Pastor Shelia handed me the mike.  The Prophetic Words began to flow, first was the word for this hour, “God is Moving in the Moment,” then there was a word for the church, some individual words, a word for Pastors Chris and Shelia.

I thought the Lord was done, when the Lord said, “Just one more thing. You all have seen what has happened in the past two years with destruction of people’s lives for things they did 20, or 30 years ago. Even the accusations of something has brought destruction. This is a strategy of the enemy called, False Perfectionism.” This is how the enemy works, he is the accuser of our brothers and sisters, Revelation 12:10. The examples of this are the recent Supreme Court confirmation hearings. Another example is when someone posted something years ago on Facebook or Twitter and it is revealed. Then, their lives and their families are destroyed.

The Lord continued to say, “False Perfectionism is that someone must be perfect, or they are disqualified from serving.  Its purpose is two-fold. First is keep good people from answering the call to serve this nation. The enemy knows that these good people would oppose his plans to destroy this nation. Everyone has things in their past that the enemy uses for this purpose.

The second is to destroy lives.” At that moment the Lord gave me a vision, I was in an office. There was a man there, who had lost hope because of his past, He opened the desk drawer and pulled out a gun and put it in his mouth. The vision ended.

The Lord continued to speak, “The enemy has done this my church for years and has now launched this strategy into the nation with a vengeance.

I have given my church weapons to defeat this strategy. First, you must remember and remind others there is no one who is perfect except for my Son Jesus. Second, tell them that the blood of the Lamb removes all sin. Third, you must walk in forgiveness and mercy. Leave the judging up to me.”

God has revealed this strategy of the enemy and He has given us powerful weapons. These weapons are Ephesians 6, the Sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and Revelation 12:11, the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. We need to bold, in showing the forgiveness of God to each other and the to world.

ALL IN!

Many in the church asking praying and believing for a great global awakening. Many prophets, including myself, are hearing from the  Lord that He is indeed moving and many are hearing from the Lord of a billion souls coming to Christ in this awakening. How is this going to happen? Is God, By the Holy Spirit going to move in a great massive move on people’s hearts and there will instantly be a billion conversions to Christ? God could do that, but He wants to you, His church to do this with Him. His call to the church and individually is to be “All In.”

The phrase “All in” means to be totally committed to something.  To prime examples of this are found in 2 Chronicles 2 – 7:3. King Solomon and all Israel were totally committed to building the Temple. We see the results of being “All in” in 2 Chronicles 5:11-14, “the glory and brilliance of the Lord filled the house of God” This happens again after Solomon’s prayer of dedication 2 Chronicles 7:1-3. Fire comes down from heaven consumes the burnt offerings, and the sacrifices and Shekinah fill the House of God and all the people see it and worship God.

Another example is found in Acts 1:12-Acts 2. There were 120 disciples gathered in the upper room waiting for days for the promised Holy Spirit.  They were “all in,” remember they were in Israel, to say the least, a very warm location. So that room with 120 people in it was hot, and there was no deodorant to cut the body odor.  They knew Jesus and were committed to waiting for the promise. We know the results of their being “All in,” the Holy Spirit came, and the church was born, and 3000 were added and many more every day from that day.

God is calling us to be “All in,” to make the sacrifices to have an intimate relationship with Him. We need to listen to His voice and do what He says to do. Then, all of us will be a part of a great global awakening and a billion people coming to Christ. The big question is, “ Are you willing to be, “All In.”
