Selah for Today 10-29-2019 - Overcomer
Overcome is succeeding in dealing with a problem or difficulty, to defeat an opponent; to prevail. It also means to overpower or overwhelm.
We as believers are always to be overcomers, we are never to be overcome, in other words, we are never supposed to be defeated. We just haven't won yet and we will win!!
Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20(NIV)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Acts 1:8-9(NIV) 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
We have the power of the Holy Spirit, He leads us and guides and when we move with Him we Win!!!

Selah for Today 08-29-2019- Think!
It’s not what happens TO YOU, but IN YOU that shapes You.
Proverbs 23:7 (NKJV) “ For as he thinks in his heart, so is he... and Romans 12:2
And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Selah for Today 08-12-2019-Life
Your life speaks louder than anything you can say.
The question is, "What is your life saying?"
Hebrews 10:23-35 (NIV)Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.

Who Are You? Part 4
Romans 8:14-16 Amplified Bible (AMP) 14For all who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.15For [the Spirit which] you have now received [is] not a spirit of slavery to put you once more in bondage to fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption [the Spirit producing sonship] in [the bliss of] which we cry, Abba (Father)! Father! 16The Spirit Himself [thus] testifies together with our own spirit, [assuring us] that we are children of God.
Galatians 4:5-7Amplified Bible (AMP) 5To purchase the freedom of (to ransom, to redeem, to atone for) those who were subject to the Law, that we might be adopted and have sonship conferred upon us [and be recognized as God's sons].6And because you [really] are [His] sons, God has sent the [Holy] Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba (Father)! Father! 7Therefore, you are no longer a slave (bond servant) but a son; and if a son, then [it follows that you are] an heir by the aid of God, through Christ.
These verses plus many more show us that we are God’s Family. We are His sons and daughters. This is who we are. We have full and unrestricted access to the Father. This is a powerful relationship. We can enter God’s presence any time we want and just the Throne Room (a place of petitions) but we have the run of the house. We can go into all the rooms of the house. The great thing is there will always be more and more rooms to explore, for our Father has a big house, bigger than we can imagine. We can roam the gardens; play in the Pools of Life created by the River of Life.
We roam the various mountain ranges of the kingdom and eat of the never-ending supply of food, which is there for us to enjoy.
Best of all is spending time with the Father. God desires us to spend time with him and He smiles when we come through the door and ask to be with Him. This was the purpose of creation, that God would have a family and that we, by our own free will would choose to love him and to spend time with him. This above all else is why mankind was created. He created us in his image for this purpose so we could enjoy each other forever. One of the great and wonderful mysteries of this is, it is always one on one, just you and the Father and it can be the same for every person in the universe at the same time if they desire it.
We must also remember that our Father, is the LORD GOD, THE CREATOR, THE ALL-POWERFUL KING OF ALL, who is from everlasting to everlasting. We must honor and worship Him as such.
As we realize this relationship of being a child of God, everything we do, being a servant, a king, a priest, and friend all flow out of this relationship. We operate in various positions in the kingdom with the proper attitude of love. We don’t do things because we have to; we do them because we want to, out of our love for our Father. This loving relationship between us, as children with God our Father, opens the door for revelations and experiences beyond what we can ever imagine.
So, begin to think of yourself and see yourself as God our Father sees you, as His child whom He loves and wants to spend time with. Father God wants to share with all that has with you. He wants to reveal himself to you. Then you will have a life full and overflowing and you can answer the question, “Who are You?”

A Series of Prophetic Words and Visions for this Moment Part 4
I saw another vision of the United States and
there were at least 23 Pillars of Fire coming down across the nation and the
fire from these pillars flowing in every direction even crossing the borders
with Mexico and Canada.
Everywhere the
pillars came down and the fire flowed I
saw there were times when church buildings were overflowing with people 24
hours a day for weeks at a time. I began to think, there are not enough chairs.
The Lord, spoke, “Don’t worry about the chairs
most of my people will be on the floor
due to My weighty presence filling those
places.” The vision also showed me
colleges and schools where the students and teachers and professors were on the floor in the classrooms
crying out to God. Regent University is
one of these places.
Then the next vision was of the world. There
were thousands of Pillars of Fire coming down on islands, in Asia, Africa, Europe, and
South America. Every continent will be touched by this Move. In this vision,
God bought me close to the middle east.
There was a Pillar of Fire in Israel.
This pillar spread the fire into the
desert to the south, north into Lebanon and
beyond and east to the Euphrates River.
This
is what I have been given so far and I am expecting more.
God also has
spoken to me, there are specific prophetic words for regions, cities, and churches in addition to these national and
global words and visions. Please contact me for
the details at lionsvoiceministries@yahoo.com.
I hope this encourages and blesses you.

Be Strong and Courageous
As I have stated before, God spoke, “He is moving in the moment and not in the hour. He is doing a new thing. We will see and do things, unlike anything we have done before.”
This bought me to Joshua Chapter 1. In verses 3-5 The Lord tells Joshua that He will be with him. Then the Lord gives the boundaries of the territory that the Lord promised. The Lord also said, “I will give you every place where you set your foot.” An amazing promise.
In verse 6 God tells Joshua, “Be strong and courageous…” Then in verse 7, the Lord tells Joshua, “Be strong and very courageous. The Lord repeats it again in verse 9 “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”
Here is Joshua, a man who saw the deliverance of Israel from Egypt, crossed the Red Sea, when up Mt. Sinai with Moses and the elders and met with God and who led the army of Israel to victory on more than one occasion. So why is God telling Joshua three times to be “strong and courageous”. Simply put Joshua and Israel were moving into something new, “the Promised Land” and they were going to have to fight for the promise.
We are today in a new move of God. We need to take the words of God spoken to Joshua and to be strong and courageous. We have all the promises of God in His Word and spoken by His prophets to us today. As with Israel, there are enemies that would try and keep us from those promises.
The enemies we face are, political correctness: telling us to keep quiet, we are seeing the rise of an anti-God, anti-christian culture like never before in our country and around the world. We have Satan and his demons, reminding us of our past, that we are not good enough, sowing doubt and unbelief.
We need to choose to believe God, to determine that we are going to be strong and courageous. We all need to remind ourselves that, all the promises of God are yes and amen for us. We need to remember the God is only with us Matthew 28:20, but lives in each one of us Colossians 2:9.
So be Stong and Courageous and fight for the promises of God for yourself, your family, your city, your state, your nation.

Just One More,Lord!!!
I was
watching the movie Hacksaw Ridge, about Desmond
Doss a Seventh Day Adventist conscientious objector and Medic and Medal of
Honor honoree during World War II.
The battle for Hacksaw Ridge was part of the campaign to take Okinawa. While the Japanese Army held the
ridge, He rescued 75 wounded American Soldiers, lowering them 350 ft., down the side of the escarpment to safety. Captured Japanese Soldiers reported having
him in their gunsights, but their guns would jam when they tried to shoot him.
During this time, he kept praying, “Lord, Just One More!”
That prayer
stayed with me, “Lord Just One More!” I
asked the Lord, “Why is this is staying with me.” Lord said, “I want my people to have that
same cry in their hearts, “Lord Just One More.”
In 1
Corinthians 9:16-27, Paul has this attitude of the heart, doing and being whatever,
it takes for the Gospel.
Mark
16:15-18 (NKJV) Jesus: “And He said to them, “Go into all the
world and preach the gospel to every creature. 16 He who
believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. 17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My
name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they
will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no
means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
In Luke
15:1-10, God is all about the just one more. The Shepherd had 99 sheep that
were safe, but there was one that was lost. The
Shepherd was not satisfied until that one lost sheep was found and returned to
the flock (just one more). The woman, who had ten silver coins and then lost
one. She kept searching until it was found (just one more). Then she calls her
friends and neighbors to celebrate. In this passage, we see there is rejoicing
in heaven when one sinner repents (just one more).
Finally, 2
Peter 3:9 says it all: “The Lord is not slow in keeping his
promise, as some understand slowness. Instead,
he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to
repentance.” (NIV) (Just One More).
We are being
called to by the Holy Spirit to have a burning passion in our hearts and
minds, for Just One More, Lord!!
Billy Graham
had this passion; his hear cry was,” Give
me souls, Lord.” In other words, “Just One More.” God has promised the Billy
Graham mantle to the Church, but we also
must have the passion for, Just One More.
We must begin to
stir up ourselves. To begin, to cry aloud to Lord, “Just One More, Lord!! Give
me Just One More,” Then, we must put into action our prayers. We must be courageous
and step out knowing that we are moving with the passion of God.
It’s time for
the passion and the heart cry of the Church to be, JUST ONE MORE. When you get the one, cry out again, “LORD!!!
JUST ONE MORE!!!”

The Adam Relationship
Special Note: I feel it is important to republish this article at this time. Relationship with is key to what is God doing this year and the years to come. Attached are several Prophetic Words for 2018.
As we know, God is restoring all things. When we say this, we are thinking of the restoration of the 5-fold ministry and gifts of the Spirit. Then, all members of the Body of Christ doing the work of the ministry.
But, the Lord is restoring beyond those things. His will and purpose are to restore our relationship with Him. This relationship goes beyond the relationship that King David had, beyond what Joshua and Moses had, beyond what Enoch enjoyed. As wonderful as these relationships were, God wants to bring us back to the relationship that Adam had in the Garden of Eden.
The Adam relationship a place of not only knowing the Will of God for our lives, not only knowing His Voice and seeing what He is doing and moving with Him but knowing Him intimately. It is a place of knowing His footsteps and not only hearing His heartbeat but that we will know what it is to be in the center of His Heart.
The Call of Father God for each of us is to be in a relationship with Him. The purpose of sending His Son Jesus Christ and the giving us the Fullness of the Holy Spirit overflowing our lives is for us for us to have a relationship with Him.
Sadly, many of us never even move beyond the basics of being saved and being filled with the Holy Spirit but there is a desire for more, but many never get to the more of God. The lack of relationship creates a sense of frustration in our spirits and eventually leads many to settle for what that have. There are others who attempt to do it in their strength. Often leading to a legalistic life of reading so much of Word of God and praying many hours a day. These things are good as tools and need to happen, but the Word without the Spirit and prayer without the Spirit lead only to an intellectual knowledge about the relationship with God.
So, how do we reach the relationship that God has purposed us and created us to be in with Him? This requires a shift in the way we do things for God. It requires a shift in our attitude about our relationship with God, our Father. We must realize that relationship is more than what we do for Him.
The relationship comes from spending time with one another not just in the doing of things. The time factor is key. Sadly, many do what has been mentioned above, read the Bible, some study the Bible (there is a difference), and they pray. This is where most of us stumble; we make prayer a one-way litany of our needs with a little praise and thanksgiving to top it off. Then, we are out the door, expecting an answer, but never taking time to listen or spend time with the one we are praying.
Listening is the beginning of a relationship. Psalm 46:10 the NRSV, NIV, ESV, KJV all translate this way, “Be still, and know that I am God.” The NASB says,” Cease striving and know that I am God” and the AMP version, “Let be and be still, and know (recognize and understand) that I am God.” In all of these translations, God is saying to us to “stop” realize Who I Am.
How do we be still and start listening? I started, eight years ago, by stopping for 5 minutes at the start of each day, now this means turning off all distractions in our lives, TV, computers, tablets and yes cell phones, and inviting God to come. I would say this: “Father I want to be with you, come and be with me.” Then, I would wait, thinking on God, with the expectation that He would come. Takes some training to keep your mind from wandering off to other things, but you can do it as I did.
Since then my time with the Father has grown and grown, it how goes well beyond the 5 minutes, it is developing into more and more intimate relationship with God.
It has become a knowing that God is with me every day, all day and this fact makes my life exciting and an Adventure in the Spirit, daily.
Salvation opens the way. Being filled with Holy Spirit gives us the power. Studying the Word of God gives us knowledge and prayer start the communication. Taking time to invite God to come and be with us, waiting and listening for Him are the first steps in the restoration of the Adam Relationship in our lives.
There is much more to come. You can begin to experience this relationship with God. God wants you to have it, all you have to do is willing to spend time with Him.
