Year 2020- Open Hands





 I was thinking about the year 2020 and hear in my spirit check the Hebrew. The number twenty symbolizes redemption.  
 The Hebrew Letter kaph represents the number 20. Kaph is a palm, an open hand in Hebrew. Kaph signifies giving freely with the palm up or covering sin with the palm down. 

  The year 2020 represents two open hands, both giving freely. It is a double portion (Isaiah 61:7-8) year. The Lord is saying, “I have both My palms up and I am giving freely to you from both hands.” In other words, this is the year of the “double portion”. This double portion is being given in every area of our lives. In the spiritual, it is a closer relationship with Him and a doubling of the fruits and the gifts of the Spirit. This also means a doubling of the Fire of God and

This also means a doubling of the Fire of God and the Power of God in your life. In the physical, it is a doubling of health, wholeness,, and strength as well as healings. In the financial, it a releasing of double what you need. These are just three areas of your life, that God is going to freely give to you in every area of your life. 
    As we receiving from the Lord, I hear in the Spirit we are to freely give (Matthew 10:7-8).  It is in the giving that you will maximize the double portion. We are to do Isaiah 61, we are to proclaim the good news, bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom to the captives and release those who are prisoners of darkness. We are to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor and warn of the day of God’s vengeance. 


We are to rebuild the ancient ruins and renew our ruined cities. 
  How can we do all this? Isaiah 61:1, “The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me... Jesus declared this at the beginning of His ministry.  Jesus is the head and we are His body and anointing of the Spirit flows down to us His body.  We can do everything by Anointing of the Holy Spirit.  
   So, as God has opened His hand and is giving freely to us, let us go into 2020 with our hands open with our palms up to freely give. Also, be willing to have our palms down to cover sin and to lift those up who need our help.

Selah for Today 10-25-2019 - Expectations




Expectations are defined as a strong belief that something will happen or be the case in the future.
The question is, what are your expectations? Are you expecting health or sickness? A great day or a bad day? Success or failure? Increase or lack?

This day I call the heavens and the earth as witnesses against you that I have set before you life and death, blessings and curses. Now choose life, so that you and your children may live
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
   Philippians 4:8 (NIV) Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

God calls to you choose Life, knowing the plans He has for you.  God encourages you to expect Good.  Which do you choose?

The Prophets’ Reward


  I had never really thought about the Prophets’ Reward, until one day a lady that the Lord spoke to though me, gave me a bottle of water. She said, “What I had spoken a week or two before has rapidly been coming to pass.” She wanted to give me a bottle of water for the prophets’ reward.  I thanked her and went on my way, still not thinking much about it.
  Later, that night, the prophets’ reward came to me again and I began to meditate on it. The next day I opened an e-mail from Jane Hamon, the title was “The Time of The Prophets’ Reward.”
  At this point, the Spirit leaped in me and I said to myself, “I guess I am supposed to teach on the prophet's reward.” I began a search for the phrase, “prophet’s reward” in the Bible and found only four places where it was mentioned. It is mentioned by Jesus in Matthew 10:40-42 when he sent out the twelve disciples. Jesus also mentions a great reward for those who believe are persecuted just the prophets, in Matthew 5:11-13 and Luke 6:23. Both are mentioned in The Beatitudes at the start of the Sermon on the Mount. The last place mentioned is about the 24 elders in Revelation 11:18 “…and for rewarding your servants the prophets and your people who revere your name, both great and small."
  The prophet’s reward is great and you will not lose it. We have two examples first is Elijah and the widow at Zarephath in 1 Kings 17. After her statement of the facts, the widow does what Elijah says and there is a  supernatural continuous provision. Then her son dies and a is bought back to life by Elijah. A great reward of provision and restoration of life. The second is in 2 Kings 4:8-36 Elisha and Shunammite woman. The woman served the prophet and received a great reward. She received life and had a son. Then years later the child dies and Elisha restores life to her reward.  So we see the prophets’ reward is one of supernatural provision and an impartation of the life of God into their lives.
   If God’s provision and life are all there is to the prophets’ reward that would be more than enough. But there is more.  
  The greatest reward is the relationship with God. Matthew 10:40-42, when you receive a prophet you are receiving God himself. When the Word is spoken by a prophet, you are receiving far more than just provision and life, you are opening a life-changing relationship with God that you will not lose.
  Receiving is more than just hearing a prophetic word, there is also doing. The widow and Shunammite woman did something. They activated the word in their lives. Sadly, many people hear a word and do nothing with it. True receiving is you taking action. Action starts by believing and praying over the word. Then, when the opportunities to do, then do, step out, even a small step is a beginning.  Then, the prophetic word and the prophets' reward are yours and will not be lost.
