Selah for Today 10-28-2019 - Really

Really can mean, an actual fact, as opposed to what is said or imagined to be true or possible or can be used to expressed interest, surprise or doubt. 
  I heard this word used a lot lately used to express surprise or doubt. So it REALLY is a fact that God loves you. In the Bible, God states this plain and clear in
 John 3:16 (NIV) For God so loved YOU* that he gave his one and only Son, that WHEN YOU* believe in him YOU *shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the YOU*, but to save the YOU* through him. (*changes were done for emphasis)  and God wants the best for you 

Jeremiah 29:11(NIV)  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Yes, REALLY!!!

Selah for Today 10-24-2019- Freedom

Freedom according to Webster's Dictionary is the quality or state of being free such as the absence of necessity, coercion, or constraint in choice or action. Liberation from slavery.
  Freedom is wonderful, but freedom without responsibility always leads back to slavery. When we don't take personal responsibility for our freedoms, someone else will do it for us and that leads to tyranny and slavery. True freedom begins with Christ.

Galatians 5:1(NIV) It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.  1 Corinthians 10:23 (NIV) “I have the right to do anything,” you say—but not everything is beneficial. “I have the right to do anything”—but not everything is constructive

Clarify: to make understandable, to free of confusion.

Psalm 96:2-3(NKJV)  Sing to the Lord, bless His name; 

Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day. 

3 Declare His glory among the ^[a]nations, His wonders among all peoples.

Good News – You have a CHOICE!
Deuteronomy 30:19 (NKJV) ..I call heaven and earth as witnesses today against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, that both you and your descendants may live;
 Romans 12:12 (KJV) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.”
