Selah for Today 10-31-2019 - Manifest

Manifest means: 1) clear or obvious to the eye or mind.  2) display or show by one's acts or appearance, demonstrate. 

Galatians 4:6-7(NIV)  Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, “Abba,^[b] Father.” ⁷ So you are no longer a slave, but God’s child; and since you are his child, God has made you also an heir.

We are to manifest (demonstrate) who we are the sons and daughters of God. We do this by manifesting God's love, forgiveness, and power to everyone.  

Selah for Today 08-22-2019- Heart

Hate and unforgiveness destroy you physically and spiritually. Love and forgiveness renew you physically and spiritually.  Let Love and Forgiveness rule your heart.

A Series of Prophetic Words and Visions for this Moment Part 2

Then I saw Three Pillars of Fire coming down from heaven. The first pillar came down on Cape Henry. Its fire flowed over the Chesapeake Bay, flowing up the Eastern Shore and southward along the coast of Virginia Beach and Northeastern North Carolina and covering the Atlantic Ocean for hundreds of miles.

  The second pillar came down on Regent University and CBN. At this point, I heard the Lord say, “I will not allow Regent University to go the way of Harvard or Yale.” This pillar spread out in every direction, connecting to the first pillar and the fire was directed south. The fire flowed into Northern Georgia.  It also connected with the third Pillar of Fire in the west.

   The third Pillar of Fire came down on the Richmond, Virginia area. This fire was directed to west Reaching across the mountains into Tennesse, West Virginia, and Ohio. The fire also spread north covering Wahington D.C. Maryland and flowing into Pennsylvania.

  I asked the Lord, “Why three Pillars of Fire? The Lord answered, “Virginia is the gateway to the nation since the first settlers came ashore and dedicated the land. I am establishing My presence in the gateway. I will keep evil from entering through the gateway.”

Revival and Awakening

I am feeling the call to pray for revival and awakening.

  Please pray with me;

    Lord we have seen the work of the enemy to destroy this nation and have heard his threats and seen his actions against your people. We have seen the spirits of hate and murder unleashed in our land.

   Father, this land was established by covenants with You, to fulfill Your Will in this land and in the nations of the earth. Lord forgive us for forgetting and breaking those covenants. Father we desire to fulfill the covenants proclaimed from the shores of Virginia and Massachusetts and all the covenants made with You for this land.  Father, You who are Faithful, the Keeper of Covenants arise and walk with us as we keep the covenants of old.

   Father, breathe a fresh fire of the Holy Spirit into us, cause us stir ourselves. to stir up the Gifts that you have given us. Direct our steps, overflow us with the Fire of Your Love that cannot be contained. That we would be transformed and we go forth and transform this nation.

   Start with us, as we pray, that we would flow with Your Holy Fire and would ignite those around us. That they would, in turn ignite those that are around them with Holy Fire. That there would be a Holy Wild Fire that would sweep and transform this nation and the nations of the earth.

   Arise, Lord God of Heaven and God, Keeper of Covenants drive back the spirits of hate and murder. We stand in Covenant with You Lord God and declare with You: spirits of hate and murder no more, you are bound and silenced in the Name of Jesus Christ.

 Thank You Father God for keeping the covenants with us.

The Young Lions of Judah

The Lord spoke to me about fifteen years ago that He was going to show me the Young Lions of Judah and that I was to encourage them in who they are to become. At first, I only saw a few here and there, but now I am beginning to see them everywhere I go. Recently, the Lord gave me this vision about the Young Lions of Judah.

I was caught up in the Spirit and found myself standing on top of a high mountain.  I look down and see a large valley, extending as far as the eye can see. In the distance, I see other mountains surrounding the valley.

I see something moving in the mountains; I focus my eyes on one of the mountains, and to my surprise, I see young lions, male and female moving over the top of the mountain and down into the valley. It is the same on each mountain, 1,000’s and multiplied 1,000’s of lions, all moving into the Valley.

I was expecting to see a lot of fighting among the lions to establish their seniority and authority. Instead, the lions acknowledged each other and seemly took up assigned positions in the valley. The movement continued until the valley was full of lions. Suddenly, all the lions bow their heads and then raised their heads and roared in unison. The roar of all these lions was deafening and shook the mountain.

 I wonder what all this means. I hear the voice of the Lord behind me, I turn around, and there stands Jesus.

Jesus spoke, “You are looking at the Valley of Judah. The Lions that have gathered here are the Young Lions of Judah.

I have commanded them to gather. They have come from their caves and dens, where I kept them until this time. Now is their time.The roar was their worship, and it shakes both the spiritual and physical realms, for they worship in the unity of the Holy Spirit. But, there is more, Watch.”

I turn back to look at the lions. The Lions begin separating into eight different lions prides. Seven of the lion prides move off in seven different directions, but the eighth pride remained in the Valley.

 Before I can ask the Lord explains, “The seven pride of lions are moving to take the seven mountains of influence. The eighth pride remains behind to worship and train.”

 I asked, “Train?”

The Lord says, “Watch.”

I look and see more young lions coming. These lions are bigger and stronger than the first group that gathered. I watched, as the lions that remained behind, move among this new group, guiding them to their positions in the valley. The eighth group grew larger and even more powerful than the new group as they did the work they were assigned. Once, they were all gathered, and in position, the eighth group of young lions roared. Then, all the lions roared in unison of worship. Their worship sent shock waves of power into the atmosphere. The mountain I am standing on began shaking more violently than before. I could barely stand during the roar and as the mountain shook.

Then as before, lion prides formed. Seven of the lion prides move off to the seven mountains of influence. The eighth pride remained behind. There was a difference, as I watched this eighth pride, these lions grew even larger and more powerful as the other lions were leaving. Again I looked towards the mountains surrounding the Valley of Judah, and more lions were coming. These lions were even bigger and more powerful than the second group of lions. The eighth lion pride did their work, guiding this new group of lions. The lions of this eighth pride continued to grow even larger and stronger as they did their work.  Again, the lions, roared, together, in worship. The sound of their roar was deafening, with explosions of power in the atmosphere. The shaking of the mountain was so strong that I could not stand.  

This time, almost all the lions left the Valley of Judah and moved towards the seven mountains of influence. The small pride of lions that remained continued roaring, and the mountains continually shook under the power of their worship.

I looked to the Lord and began to speak, “The second group of lions is the children of the first group. The third group is the children of the second.  The children, have the DNA of parents and learned from them, growing larger and stronger than their parents.”

I started to ask a question, but the Lord continued. “This does not involve chronological age but the heart of the individual.  There are many Young Lions of Judah that have gray hair on the outside, but I have kept the hearts young, and I will give them strength to do what they are called to do.”

The vision closed and I  got a sense of the timing in my spirit. The first group of Young Lions is gathering now. The next group of lions will come together in about ten years, and the third group will come about ten years later.

Why are We Losing to the Devil?

Why are we losing to the devil? We, who know the Lord Jesus Christ are not waging war against the gates of hell.

   It's time to go on the attack against evil wherever it is found. We have all the power in Christ Jesus. We overcome and win by the blood of the Lamb and word of our testimony. Unleashing the Power of Praise to our God, the Power of Prayer and allowing the Holy Spirit to flow through us.

   It's time to take back what the devil has stolen: "The Earth is the Lord's and the fullness there of" The devil stole it in Eden and how we must take the Earth back, so that the Glory of the Lord fills the Earth.
   We must roar in the Spirit as the young Lions of Judah that we are, moving in the Holy Spirit with the Lion of Judah Jesus Christ. It's time to wake up, to roar , to put on the Armor of God and to wage war against the devil. It's TIME to fight and win for our nation and the nations of the Earth!! Let the shout be hear in the streets, in businesses ,in the halls of government, until it the shout is a roar "PRAISE THE LORD AND GLORY TO GOD MOST HIGH!!!

Be Like Jonah

 We all know the story of Jonah, the prophet who tried to run from giving God’s message to Nineveh. But, there is much more to his story and that is why I titled this article “Be Like Jonah.”

   Never-the-less In Jonah chapter 3, he heads to Nineveh. Nineveh was the capital of the Assyrian Empire. A city 60 miles wide and a population of 120,000. The Leadership of Nineveh was brutal to their enemies and their own people. The leaders of Nineveh would use terror and brutality in order to maintain control over the empire. Their methods included, mass beheadings and making pyramids out of the heads, impaling people on stakes (an early form of crucifixion) and nailing bodies to the walls of the various cities in empire. The Assyrians did not worship God Jehovah. Jonah knew all of this, No wonder he didn’t want to go there.

   Jonah was walking into a very politically incorrect situation and one that could cost him his life. In Jonah 3:4 He enters the city and declares the Word of the Lord of its impending destruction. A wonderful thing happens, the people of Nineveh believed God. The people proclaimed a fast and put on sackcloth. After that the King heard of the move of God in the city and he joined in proclaiming a fast for man and beast. Then the king led everyone from their evil ways and the violence they had done. The people and the king repented. When God saw their works and their repentance and He decided not to destroy them.

   We should be like Jonah, he preached God’s message in a politically incorrect situation. Political correctness says for the church, and individual believer to keep quiet and don’t speak out. If we speak God’s Word we can be branded uneducated, backwards and politically incorrect. But if we, like Jonah, speak the Word that God in power and authority, telling them message of forgiveness through Jesus Christ, to the people around us we too can have the same results. We can change our neighborhoods, our cities, our states and our nation.

   We do not need to look to the political leadership of our nation for change. The leaders of Nineveh did not change until they saw the people change. The same is true of our leaders, they will not change unless we lead the people to change.

   It is up to us to take the message of God’s love to the streets of our cities like Jonah did and expect greater results. The reason I say greater is that we have the Holy Spirit. We have the Fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit (1 Corinthians 12:4-11). The combining of the Fruits and the Gifts of the Spirit creates a far greater anointing than any Old Testament prophet ever had, so we can expect greater results.  

We are God’s messengers to this nation and to the world. It’s time to put action to our prayers for our nation. Do not be afraid of those who call you names and say you are politically incorrect, stand your ground and speak the Word of God, demonstrate His love and power and expect change.
